Boys soccer: Pasco County player of the year — April 10

Here are the nominees for the Pasco County boys soccer player of the year. The poll is meant to be fun and has no bearing on the Prime Time Preps all-county team, which will run at the end of the school year. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Jonathan Brink, Sr., Academy at the Lakes: Recorded 28 goals and 11 assists to help the Wildcats go 9-6-2 this season. 

Will Fotopoulos, Jr., Sunlake: Finished with 22 goals and 17 goals to lead the Seahawks to a 23-3-1 record. 

Reece Jamieson, Sr., Wesley Chapel: The Sunshine Athletic Conference defensive player of the year in the East Division had eight goals and led the Wildcats to a 14-6-3 record this season. 

Alex Rodriguez, Sr., Wiregrass Ranch: The Sunshine Athletic Conference offensive player of the year in the East Division finished with 21 goals and 12 assists in leading the Bulls to an 18-6 record. 

Josh Sarka, So., River Ridge: The Sunshine Athletic Conference defensive player of the year in the West Division had nine assists and five goals for the Royal Knights this season.   

Joseph Tobin, Mitchell: The Sunshine Athletic Conference offensive player of the year in the West Division finished with 11 goals and seven assists for the 11-6-4 Mustangs.
