Girls lacrosse: Tampa Bay area player of the week — April 3-8

Here are the nominees for the Tampa Bay area girls lacrosse player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Isabelle Albritton, Sr., Robinson: Finished with 12 draw controls, four goals and two ground balls in a win over Alonso. 

Isabella Colon, Sr., River Ridge: Ended up with seven ground balls and five goals in a win over East Lake. 

Lainey Fernald, Sr., Northeast: Led the Vikings with a combined 13 goals in three games. 

Katie Fisher, So., Plant: Finished with four assists, three goals and two ground balls in a win over Berkeley Prep. 

Elena Hangen, Sr., Sickles: Recorded four ground balls, three goals and three assists in a win over Lake Wales. 

Olivia Jacinto, Sr., Sunlake: Finished with five ground balls, three goals and an assist in a win over Land O’ Lakes. 

Jerianne Morris, Sr., Mitchell: Assisted on six goals and scored one of her own in a win over Wesley Chapel. 

Sydni O’Nan, Sr., Tampa Catholic: Made seven saves to help the Crusaders hold on to beat Cypress Creek. 

Rylie Ricketts, Sr., Calvary Christian: Had three goals and two assists in a win over Sarasota Military Academy. 

Lara Slager, Jr., St. Petersburg: Finished with four goals and two assists in a win over Largo. 

Jocelyn Smith, Jr., St. Petersburg Catholic: Led the Barons with seven ground balls and six goals in a win over Sickles. 

Alivia Transue, Fr., Bloomingdale: Recorded a combined 10 goals in  wins over Freedom and Wiregrass Ranch.
