No. 8 Sickles (12-8) at No. 1 Plant (15-3), 7

This is the third meeting between these teams this season. The Panthers have won the previous two by a combined 34-7, including a victory in the semifinals of last week’s 2A-10 district tournament.

Plant, which is ranked No. 4 in the class by MaxPreps, has won four straight games. Two of the Panthers’ three losses were to out-of-state teams.

The Warriors, ranked No. 5 in the class, are expected to make another deep playoff run. 

They have been dominant this season, winning 10 of their 12 games by double digits. Their only two losses are to out-of-state teams. 

The Mustangs, meanwhile, are trying to rebound after losing their past two games.
