Girls lacrosse: Tampa Bay area player of the week — April 10-15

Here are the nominees for the Tampa Bay area girls lacrosse player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Ashlynn Hunter, Jr., Cypress Creek: Recorded 76 percent on draws and had a combined 12 ground balls, four assists, three goals and two forced turnovers in three games to help the Coyotes win the Class 1A, District 5 title. 

Taylor Lapointe, Sr., Steinbrenner: Led the Warriors with six goals, six draw controls and an assist in a 17-3 win over Mitchell for the Class 2A, District 9 title. 

Lauren Martinez, Fr., Academy of the Holy Names: Finished with 12 draw controls, four goals, three ground balls and an assist to help the Jaguars beat Calvary Christian 13-8 for the Class 1A, District 9 title. 

Reagan Quinn, Jr., Plant: Had five ground balls, three assists and a goal in the Panthers 12-6 win over Newsome in the Class 2A, District 10 title game.
