Baseball: Hillsborough County pitcher of the week — April 17-22

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County pitcher of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Trimble Henderson, So., Berkeley Prep: Threw six scoreless innings, allowing four hits while striking out 11 in a win over Shorecrest. 

Michael Marroquin, Jr., Jefferson: Hurled a one-hit shutout with five strikeouts in a win over Bloomingdale that was called after five innings because of the mercy rule.  

Chase Mobley, Jr., Plant City: Led the Raiders by throwing a one-hit shutout with nine strikeouts in a win over Tampa Bay Tech that lasted five innings because of the mercy rule. 

Luke Richardson, Sr., Strawberry Crest: Ended up going eight scoreless innings, giving up three hits while striking out eight in a win over Durant. 

Nick Riedel, So., Carrollwood Day: Hurled six shutout innings, allowing two hits while striking out six in a win over Tampa Prep. 

Preston Rogers, Sr., Durant: Went five scoreless innings, allowing one hit while striking out eight in a win over Sumner. 

Robert Satin, Sr., Plant: Hurled a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts in a win over Jefferson.
