Here are the nominees for the Pasco County hitter of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Fernando Baez, Sr., Hudson: Led the Cobras by hitting three doubles and finishing with six RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Anclote.

Mills Carrillo, Fr., Wesley Chapel: Went 4-for-5 with two runs scored in a win over Fivay.  

Zachary Merriman, Jr., Sunlake: Powered the Seahawks by going 5-for-5 with a double, a triple, two RBIs and four runs scored in a win over Northeast. 

Christian Oliver, Sr., Wiregrass Ranch: Went a combined 5-for-8 with two RBIs and two runs scored in a pair of wins over Wesley Chapel. 

JP Pennella, Sr., Land O’ Lakes: Ended up going a combined 5-for-9 with a homer, a triple, four RBIs and seven runs scored in wins over Pasco, Zephyrhills and River Ridge.
