Softball: Pinellas County pitcher of the week — April 24-28

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County pitcher of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Samantha Beltran, So., Canterbury: Hurled 4 ⅓ scoreless innings, allowing three hits while striking out three in a win over Bradenton Christian. 

Hallie Bordeaux, Sr., Boca Ciega: Threw a no-hit shutout with eight strikeouts in a win over Gibbs that lasted three innings because of the mercy rule. 

Danielle Brunner, So., Northeast: Tossed a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in a win over Largo. 

Megan Kimmet, Fr., Clearwater: Hurled four scoreless innings, allowing three hits while striking out three in a win over Largo. 

Aliyah Lai, So., Osceola: Threw a one-hit shutout with nine strikeouts in a win over Clearwater. 

Lucy Mondok, Fr., East Lake: Finished with a two-hit shutout and 12 strikeouts in win over St. Petersburg for the PCAC title. 

Jamisen Rheintgen, So., Lakeside Christian: Threw a three-hitter, allowing one earned run while striking out 11 in a win over Lakeland Santa Fe Catholic.
