Jordan Ankers, So., Wesley Chapel: Allowed one earned on six hits while striking out nine in five innings of work to helped the Wildcats beat Zephyrhills in the Class 5A-7 district semifinals.
Elizabeth Billett, Sr., Mitchell: Threw a six-hitter, allowing three runs (one earned) while striking out seven in a win over Sunlake in the Class 6A-5 district quarterfinals.
Sydney Klein, Jr., Academy at the Lakes: Allowed two earned runs on three hits and 20 strikeouts in wins over Bishop McLaughlin and Hernando Christian for the Class 2A-6 district title.
Kylie Glatfelter, Fr., Wiregrass Ranch: Hurled three scoreless innings in relief, allowing one hit while striking out four in a win over Tampa Bay Tech in the Class 6A-6 district semifinals.
Morgan Montelongo, Fr., Pasco: Threw a four-hitter, allowing one earned run while striking out three in a win over Belleview in Class 5A-5 district semifinals.
Jayda Smith, Sr., River Ridge: Threw a five-hitter, allowing two runs (one earned) while striking out 13 in a win over Cypress Creek in the Class 5A-7 district semifinals en route to the title.
