Outlook: The Knights have won six straight state titles and seven overall, the most in state history. This season, Robinson went through some with growing pains. The run of six straight titles were won with six different senior quarterbacks. This year, Haidyn Spano, a sophomore, takes over at quarterback. It is the first time Robinson had a sophomore start at that position since 2007. After losing twice in the regular season, the Knights have put it together, winning nine straight. Mainland is try ing to win its first state title. After losing in the 1A-9 district final, the Buccaneers have won three straight playoff games, two of which were decided by seven points or less.
