Outlook

This is a rematch from last year’s state semifinals that the Warriors won 5-3 in eight innings en rout to their first state title. Calvary Christian enters on an eight-game win streak, including seven teams that made the playoffs. Pitching and defense have been for the Warriors’ current run. They have recorded shutouts in three of their last four games. The Indians have plenty of momentum, too, with nine straight wins. In the playoffs, they have been particularly dominant, winning their last three games by a combined 36-4.
