Here are the nominees for the Tampa Bay area softball hitter of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Payton Cushman, Sr., Calvary Christian: Ended up going 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs in a win over Fort Myers Bishop Verot in the Class 3A region final. 

Aryanna Eliopoulos, Sr., Hernando: Finished 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a run scored in a win over Alachua Santa Fe in the Class 3A region semifinals. 

Lauren Kreshon, So., River Ridge: Hit a two-run homer to give the Royal Knights an ary lead in a win over Auburndale in the Class 5A region final. 

Jadyn Spencer, Sr., Land O’ Lakes: Led the Gators by going 3-for-4 with a double and what turned out to be the winning RBI to beat Bloomingdale in a Class 6A region final that lasted 10 innings. 

Addison Swink, Jr., Plant: Went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in a win over Windermere in the Class 7A region final. 

JC Thaxton, Sr., Robinson: Ended up going 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over LaBelle in the Class 4A region semifinals.
