Volleyball: OTVA Team Aaron takes home national AAU title — June 27

In the last two years, Clearwater Central Catholic’s Taylor Bedinghaus, Plant’s Bella Lee and Calvary Christian’s Taylor Parks have all played key roles in leading their teams to state titles.

This past weekend, they teamed together on the travel circuit to win a national championship.

All three were instrumental in guiding the OTVA (Orlando Tampa Volleyball Association) Tampa Aaron team to the 17 Open title at AAU Nationals in Orlando.

The team includes all seniors who play high school volleyball in the Tampa Bay area.

Parks, a setter who has already committed to Florida, was named the tournament MVP. Two years ago, she was named the Class 3A player of the year after leading the Warriors to their first state title.

Lee, a defensive wizard who will be joining Parks at Florida next year, was named an All-American. In 2021, she helped the Panthers win the Class 7A state title.

Bedinghaus, an outside hitter who has yet to decide on a college, also was named an All-American. Last year, she was key in the Marauders winning the Class 3A state title.

Below is the roster for OTVA Team Aaron, which includes the high school for each player and their college commitment, if any so far.
