Here are the nominees for the Pasco County defensive player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Jesse Anderson, Sr., Anclote: Had four tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a win over Bronson. 

Tyreese Grose, Sr., Pasco: Finished with 10 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery in a loss to East Ridge.

Aiden Holewski, Jr., Gulf: Recorded eight tackles and two sacks in a win over Mitchell.

Jake Malvar, Sr., Mitchell: Finished with 12 tackles and an interception in a loss to Gulf.

Jeffrey Mason, Sr., Land O’ Lakes: Had seven tackles and returned a fumble for a touchdown in a win over River Ridge.

Greg Peterlin, Jr., Bishop McLaughlin: Finished with six tackles and had a sack and an interception in a win over Legacy Charter.

Roman Sercu, Sr., Cypress Creek: Registered 11 tackles and picked off a pass in a win over Fivay.
