Football: Pinellas County Defensive Player of the Week — Week 4, Sept. 15, 2023

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County defensive player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Aidan Cruz, Sr., East Lake: Had 15 tackles and 1 ½ sacks in a win over Boca Ciega. 

Keo Jenkins, Jr., Clearwater Central Catholic: Recorded eight tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble in a win over Clearwater. 

Dontaivious Nelson, Jr., Seminole: Ended up with six tackles and a 

Ladamein Stinson, So., St. Petersburg: Recorded 11 tackles and a sack in a win over Osceola. 

Zion Watson, Fr., Northside Christian: Recorded four tackles and picked off a pass in a win over Seffner Christian.

Bari Williams, Jr., Largo: Had four tackles and returned an interception for a touchdown in a win over Gibbs.

Keontae Williams, Jr., Northeast: Finished with 10 tackles and returned an interception for a touchdown in a loss to Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons.

Tyrek Winthrop, Sr., Tarpon Springs: Finished with 10 tackles in a win over Palm Harbor University.

Gary Woessner, So., Dunedin: Finished with six tackles and a fumble recovery in a win over Hollins.
