Here are the nominees for the Pasco County defensive player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday.

Cody Allen, Jr., Mitchell: Recorded 10 tackles and a sack in a win over Land O’ Lakes. 

Sean Brown, Jr., Fivay: Ended up with 12 tackles and an interception in a win over East Ridge. 

Joe Finks, Sr., Hudson: Recorded four tackles and picked off two passes in a win over Central.  

Brady McGovern, Jr., Bishop McLaughlin: Had five tackles and returned an interception for a touchdown in a win over Warner Christian Academy. 

Jonathan Motta, Sr., Cypress Creek: Finished with nine tackles and two sacks in a win over Pasco. 

Kaden Paghense, Fr., Zephyrhills Christian: Recorded six tackles and two sacks in a win over Lakeland Victory Christian. 

Noa Paselio, Sr., Gulf: Finished with three tackles and returned an interception for a touchdown in a win over Citrus.

Samuel Walls, Sr., River Ridge: Ended up with 16 tackles and two sacks in a win over East Ridge.
