Here are the nominees for the Hernando County football player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Christian Cromer, Sr., Nature Coast: Ran for 203 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries in a win over Land O’ Lakes. 

Jacob Lawson, Sr., Weeki Wachee: Finished with 13 tackles in a loss to Fivay. 

Connor Mccazzio, Jr., Springstead: Ran for 205 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries in a win over Hernando.

Leandre Wright, Sr., Hernando: Had three catches for 101 yards and a touchdown on offense and recorded five tackles on defense in a loss to Springstead.
