Here are the nominees for the Hernando County volleyball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Jadyn Aponte, Jr., Weeki Wachee: Ended up with a combined 14 kills and five blocks in three matches at the Gulf Coast 8 tournament. 

Bailey Poe, Jr., Hernando: Finished with six digs, four aces, three kills and two blocks in a win over Crystal River. 

Azadee Mottahedeh, So., Hernando Christian: Ended up with 15 digs and 11 kills in a win over Orlando Christian Prep. 

Isabella Nunag, Sr., Springstead: Recorded 16 assists, six digs and three aces in a win over Nature Coast in the final of the Gulf Coast 8 tournament.
