Here are the nominees for the Pasco County defensive player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Sal Bonacasa, So., Fivay: Recorded six tackles, three sacks and three forced fumbles in a win over Citrus.

Marcus Coleman, Fr., Gulf: Ended up with eight tackles, an interception and a forced fumble in a win over Lecanto.  

Landon Louis, Jr., Wiregrass Ranch: Finished with four tackles and two sacks in a win over Sunlake.

Jake Mason, So., Land O’ Lakes: Had six tackles, a sack and a blocke field goal in a loss to Springstead.
