Here are the nominees for the Hernando County volleyball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Hannah Burke, Sr., Hernando Christian: Finished with 22 digs, 20 blocks and eight kills in a win over Cambridge Christian for the Class 2A, District 9 title. 

Dylan Elferdink, Sr., Weeki Wachee: Ended up with 24 kills and 17 digs in a win over Hudson for the Class 4A, District 9 title. 

Emily Miller, Sr., Springstead: Recorded 25 kills, 20 digs and three blocks in a win over Pinellas Park in the Class 6A, District 9 quarterfinals. 

Ava Pontrelli, Sr., Nature Coast: Finished with five digs and four kills in a win over Central in the Class 4A, District 9 quarterfinals.
