Outlook

The Bulls have done some impressive things the past few years. They posted four straight winning seasons and reached the region semifinals last year.

This season, Bloomindale accomplished something the program has not done since 1994.

Against Fort Myers in last week’s region final, the Bulls won via sweep to reach the state semifinals for the first time in 29 years.

Everything aligned for Bloomingdale. Led by a mix of veterans and rising stars, the Bulls enter the state semifinals on a seven-match win streak.

Now comes the big test.

Bloomingdale faces perennial powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas, the top-seeded team among 6A state semifinalists.

The Raiders have the edge in playoff experience. After all, this is their 11th state semifinal appearance in the past 13 seasons.
