Football: Calvary Christian’s Jacob Drackett sets Pinellas County career passing record — Nov. 18, 2023

Calvary Christian’s Jacob Drackett, an Air Force commit, hit an impressive milestone while leading his team to the region finals for the second straight season.

In Friday’s 48-20 win over Clearwater, Drackett threw for 265 yards, giving him 7,364 for his high school career to become Pinellas County’s all-time leading passer.

Drackett broke the record of 7,312 set last year by Lakewood’s Anthony Calandrea, now at Virginia.

That is not the only county record Drackett owns. He also holds the career mark for touchdown passes with 89.

And the senior could add another record in this week’s region final game against Berkeley Prep. With three more touchdown passes, Drackett can break the single season mark of 42 that Clearwater’s Aidan MacLean set in 2021.
