Here are the nominees for the Hernando County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Wednesday. 

Braden Joyner, Sr., Central: Scored a team-high 22 points in a win over Sunlake. 

Austin Nicholson, Sr., Springstead: Averaged 14.3 points and three assists in three games last week. 

Matthew Stumpf, Sr., Weeki Wachee: Averaged 19 points the first two games of the season.
