Girls basketball: Pinellas County player of the week — Nov. 27-Dec. 2, 2023

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County girls basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Ella Abernathy, Jr., St. Petersburg: Scored a team-high 19 points in a win over Northeast. 

Leah Barker, So., Palm Harbor University: Led the Hurricanes with 20 rebounds, 14 points and six blocks in a win over Largo. 

Abby Fischer, 8th, Keswick Christian: Scored 25 points, including seven 3-pointers, in a win over Winthrop College Prep. 

Rilee Knight, Jr., Northside Christian: Averaged 16.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 steals per game in leading the Mustangs to a 3-0 start. 

Ja’maria Long, Sr., Canterbury: Finished with 23 points, including eight 3-pointers, in a win over Admiral Farragut. 

Allevia Williams, So., Clearwater: Scored a team-high 19 points in a season-opening win over rival Largo. 

Ally Wright, So., Countryside: Had 14 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a win over Seminole.
