Here are the nominees for the Pasco County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Wednesday. 

Tejacion Chapman, Sr., Hudson: Led the Cobras with 22 points and 19 rebounds in a win over Pasco. 

Ryan Eaton, Sr., Cypress Creek: Averaged nine points and 9.5 rebounds per game in wins over Zephyrhills Christian and Land O’ Lakes. 

Ethan Hicks, Jr., Wesley Chapel: Finished with 16 points and three rebounds in a win over IMG Gray. 

Chris Murray, Jr., Sunlake: Ended up averaging 19 points and seven rebounds per game in wins over Palm Harbor University and Zephyrhills. 

Orvill Ortiz, Jr., Fivay: Recorded a double-double, finishing with 14 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Gulf. 

KJ Smith, Jr., Wiregrass Ranch: Averaged 20.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game in wins over Freedom, Sunlake and Lake Weir.  

Ben Unger, Sr., Mitchell: Finished with 21 points, five rebounds and five steals in a win over Countryside.
