Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Wednesday. 

Lavant Burgess, So., Seminole: Led the Warhawks with 27 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks in a win over rival Osceola. 

Kayden Calhoun, Fr., Canterbury: Recorded 21 points, seven rebounds and four assists in a win over Keswick Christian. 

Jacob Daniels, Jr., Gibbs: Averaged 18 points, 6.6 assists and 5.3 rebounds in wins over Boca Ciega, Lakewood and Punta Gorda Charlotte. 

Kristopher Foote, So., Clearwater: Ended up with 18 points and nine rebounds in a win over Dunedin. 

Corey Perlin, Jr., Countryside: Finished with 15 points in a win over East Lake.  

Sherwin Simmons, Jr., Lakeside Christian: Had 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a win over Admiral Farragut.
