The Florida High School Athletic Association released the classifications, districts and regions for football this coming season. The assignments are based on student enrollment numbers. This is a two-year cycle that the FHSAA board of directors voted on two weeks ago. The state’s governing body decided to away with the Metro and Suburban Divisions in favor of the Classes 7A-1A, along with a rural class.
