Here are the nominees for the Hernando County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Wednesday. 

Sam Jackson, Jr., Hernando: Finished with 19 points and seven rebounds in a win over Citrus. 

AJ Ramsaroop, Fr., Nature Coast: Averaged a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds per game) in wins over River Ridge and Crystal River.

Ryan Sayre, Jr., Springstead: Ended up with 10 points, four rebounds and three assists in a win over Crystal River. 

David Villarroel, Sr., Central: Recorded a pair of double-doubles in points and rebounds in wins over Citrus and Lecanto.
