Boys basketball: Hillsborough County player of the week — Feb. 5-10, 2024

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County boys basketball player of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Nate Boakye, Sr., Jesuit: Averaged 14.4 points and four rebounds per game in wins over King and Blake for the Class 5A, District 8 title.

Isaiah Campbell-Finch, Jr., Tampa Catholic: Led the Crusaders with 47 points and nine rebounds in an overtime win over Berkeley Prep for the Class 3A, District 9 title.

Derek Delgardo Jr., Sr., Leto: Ended up with 22 points and seven rebounds in a win over Wharton for the Class 6A, District 9 final.  

Derrick Doe, Jr., Tampa SLAM: Finished with 18 points, seven steals and five assists in a win over Brandon Academy for the Class 2A, District 9 title. 

Jabory Nelson, Sr., Sumner: Led the Stingrays by finishing with a double-double (25 points, 10 rebounds) in a win over Lakewood Ranch for the Class 

Caleb Sanders, Jr., Bell Creek Academy: Recorded a double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds) and scored the game-winner in overtime to beat Lakeland Santa Fe Catholic for the Class 3A, District 7 title. 

Drew Tinney, Sr., Plant: Scored a team-high 20 points in a win over East Lake for the Class 7A, District 10 title. 

Austin White, Sr., Durant: Scored a team-high 29 points in a Class 7A, District 9 title game loss to Winter Haven. 

Caleb Zettel, Jr., Bloomingdale: Ended up leading the Bulls in scoring with 25 points in a semifinal win over Lennard and 17 in a title game victory over Palmetto for the Class 6A, District 10 title.
