The girls flag football season kicks off in the Tampa Bay area tonight. Check out three games to watch in Hillsborough County, along with the area schedules. 

What to watch tonight

Alonso (2-0) at Wharton (2-0), 7:30

The defending Class 2A state champion Ravens, who went undefeated and finished tops in the nation last season, start off on the road against the Wildcats. 

Steinbrenner (0-0) at Riverview (0-0), 7:30

This is a rematch from a game the host Sharks won 7-0 last season. That was one of just three losses the Warriors had a year ago. 

Newsome (0-0) at Robinson (0-0), 7:30

It doesn’t get much better than this. The Wolves, who won the Class 2A state title two seasons ago, square off against the host Knights, the state’s premier program, which has won seven straight state titles and eight overall in Class 1A.
