Here are the nominees for the Hernando County softball player of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Wednesday. 

Alvalyn Crisp, So., Weeki Wachee: Ended up hitting .833 with a combined two triples and four RBIs in wins over Gulf and Anclote to start the season. 

Rae Easton, Fr., Hernando Christian: Went a combined 6-for-7 with a triple, two doubles and five RBIs in wins over Cambridge Christian and Lakeside Christian. 

Kenzie Eland, Sr., Nature Coast: Hit .556 with a combined three RBIs to help the Sharks go 3-2 to start the season. 

Ava Miller, Jr., Springstead: Went 4-for-4 with an RBI and a double in a season-opening win over Citrus that lasted eight innings.
