Here are the nominees for the Hernando County baseball player of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Zach Bradford, Sr., Hernando Christian: Went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI in a season-opening win over Cambridge Christian. 

Sean Keegan, Sr., Nature Coast: Threw six scoreless innings, allowing one hit while striking out nine in a season-opening win over rival Springstead.  

Austin Knierim, So., Hernando: Had three hits, including the walk-off that dorve in the final two runs in a 5-4 victory over Crystal River. 

Jack Strong, Jr., Weeki Wachee: Ended up going 3-for-5 with a double, four RBIs and four runs scored in a win over Seven Rivers Christian and threw 6 ⅓ innings, allowing one earned run on three hits while striking out 12 in a win over Central.
