Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County baseball hitter of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Peyton Coakley, So., Foundation Christian: Went a combined 5-for-6 with two doubles and seven RBIs in wins over Eastside Christian and Bayshore Christian. 

Matthew Counts, Sr., Lennard: Went a combined 5-for-7 with a double and three RBIs in the first two games of the season. 

Akhil Nimmala, Sr., Strawberry Crest: Ended up going a combined 3-for-4 with a homer, a double and four RBIs in wins over 

Ethan Heintz, Sr., Carrollwood Day: Went a combined 3-for-4 with five RBIs in wins over Cambridge Christian and IMG Gold. 

Angel Hernandez, Gaither: Had a combined five hits, including a homer and three doubles, and finished with five RBIs in wins over Newsome, Plant and Jesuit.
