Baseball: Pinellas County hitter of the week — Feb. 19-24, 2024

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County baseball hitter of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Cord Gerdes, Sr., Osceola: Went a combined 4-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored in wins over Sunlake and Northeast to start the season. 

Jayden Harriel, Sr., East Lake: Finished 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in win over Osceola for the Packer Invitational title. 

Kendall Hoffman, Sr., Seminole: Went a combined 6-for-9 with two doubles and four RBIs in wins over Boca Ciega, Pinellas Park and Dunedin to help the Warhawks take home the team title at their Steve Georgiadis tournament. 

Jace Kohler, Sr., Calvary Christian: Finished 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI in a win over Tampa Catholic.

Wilfredo Soto, Sr., Keswick Christian: Went a combined 7-for-11 with two doubles and three RBIs in three games.  

Jeremiah Tokar, Jr., Dunedin: Ended up going a combined 7-for-10 with five RBIs to help the Falcons go 2-1 and reach of the final of Seminole’s Steve Georgiadis tournament.
