Here are the nominees for the Hernando County baseball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Brendan Anderson, Sr., Springstead: Went a combined 4-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs scored in wins over Mitchell and Citrus. 

Jackson Hoyt, Jr., Nature Coast: In a pair of wins over rival Hernando, he threw four scoreless innings with six strikeouts on the mound and had a pair of doubles at the plate. 

Tristan King, Jr., Central: Drove in two runs at the plate and recorded two strikeouts in 1 ⅓ innings on the mound in a win over Lecanto. 

Jack Strong, Sr., Weeki Wachee: Threw a no-hit shutout (one walk away from being perfect) and recorded 15 strikeouts in a win over Crystal River.
