Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County baseball pitcher of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Andreas Alvarez, Sr., Northside Christian: Went 5 ⅔ innings, giving up one run on three hits while striking out 14 in a win over Mars (Pa.).

Jack Johnson, Sr., Dunedin: Led the Falcons by throwing a one-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts in a win over previously undefeated East Lake.   

Michael O’Hanlan, Sr., Clearwater: Threw four perfect innings with 10 strikeouts in a win over Bradenton Southeast that was called early because of the mercy rule.

Brennan Smith, Sr., St. Petersburg: Recorded a four-hit shutout with six strikeouts in a win over Osceola. 

Ty Strickland, So., Indian Rocks Christian: Tossed three scoreless innings, giving up one hit while striking out three in a win over Canterbury that was called after three innings because of the mercy rule.
