Baseball: Pinellas County hitter of the week — April 1-6, 2024

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County baseball hitter of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Seth Anderson, Sr., Pinellas Park: Ended up going a combined 5-for-6 with two doubles, an RBI and four RBIs in wins over Owensboro (KY), Bell Creek Academy and Keswick Christian. 

Shawn Blanton, Sr., Clearwater: Finished a combined 4-for-7 with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored in wins over Lakewood and Anclote. 

Jayden Cannizzaro, Sr., Northeast: Went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs in a win over Osceola. 

Robert Kramer, Jr., St. Petersburg Catholic: Finished a combined 7-for-10 with seven RBIs and four runs scored in three games. 

Luke Oester, Sr., Dunedin: Had a walk-off, run-scoring double to beat nationally ranked Parkview (GA). 

Kane Price, Sr., Largo: Finished a combined 9-for-14 with three doubles, seven RBIs and five runs scored in four games. 

Colt Richey, Sr., Lakeside Christian: Went a combined 5-for-8 with a double, a triple, two RBIs and three runs scored in wins over Bayshore Christian and Admiral Farragut. 

Andrew Tess, Sr., Calvary Christian: Ended up going a combined 6-for-6 with two homers, a double, six RBIs and five runs scored in wins over East Lake, Tampa Prep and Lakewood.
