Softball: Pinellas County hitter of the week — April 16, 2024

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County softball hitter of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Payton Cushman, Sr., Calvary Christian: Went a combined 6-for-8 with four doubles and three runs scored in wins over Plant and Auburndale. 

Giavanni D’Amico, Jr., Boca Ciega: Led the Pirates by going 5-for-5 with two doubles, four RBIs and three runs scored in a win over Tarpon Springs. 

Katie Fasting, So., Palm Harbor University: Ended up going a combined 4-for-8 with two homers, five RBIs and three runs scored in wins over Largo and Seminole. 

Kate Miller, Sr., St. Petersburg Catholic: Powered the Barons by going 3-for-4 with a triple, a double, six RBIs and four runs scored in a win over Bradenton Southeast. 

Jenna Neupaver, Jr., Osceola: Finished a combined 7-for-8 with an RBI and six runs scored in wins over River Ridge and Northeast. 

Juleah Patterson, Jr., Clearwater: Ended up going a combined 6-for-7 with four RBIs and five runs scored in wins over Gulf and Clearwater Central Catholic. 

Ava Vargas, So., Hollins: Went a combined 6-for-12 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in wins over Countryside, Largo and Dunedin.
