Haleigh Galvan, Jr., Newsome: Recorded a four-hit shutout with four strikeouts in a Class 7A, District 6 win over Winter Haven.
Keala Hollenkamp, Jr., Academy of the Holy Names: Finished with a four-hitter, allowing two earned runs while striking out seven in a win over Berkeley Prep for the Class 3A, District 9 title.
Kaylin Merritt, So., Robinson: Gave up three earned runs on seven hits while striking out two in a win over Jefferson for the Class 4A, District 9 title.
Betty Oderio, So., Durant: Allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits while striking out seven in a win over Newsome for the Class 7A, District 6 title.
Lilly Patton, So., Steinbrenner: Gave up two earned runs on seven hits while striking out three in a win over Palm Harbor University for the Class 7A, District 7 title.
Avery Powers, Jr., Berkeley Prep: Threw a two-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts in a Class 3A, District 9 win over Tampa Catholic.
Kasey Wilkes, Jr., Gaither: Allowed one earned run on seven hits while striking out one in a win over Wiregrass Ranch for the Class 6A, District 6 title.
