Football: The U.S. Army Hillsborough County Offensive Player of the Week Poll – Week 1

Here are the nominees for the U.S. Army Hillsborough County Offensive Player of the Week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

RB Anthony Carrie, Jr., Carrollwood Day: Finished with 240 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Cambridge Christian.

RB Rod Gainey, Jr., Tampa Bay Tech: Ran for 142 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Chamberlain. 

QB Murdolph Jones, Sr., Armwood: Accounted for 307 yards of offense (230 passing, 77 rushing) and four touchdowns (two passing, two running) in a win over Plant City. 

QB Luke Knight, Jr., Jesuit: Threw for 238 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Wharton. 

WR Eugene Wilson III, Sr., Gaither: The dynamic playmaker had seven catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Plant.
