Hillsborough County softball player of the week poll – Feb. 21-26

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County softball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

C Hannah Church, Sr., Berkeley Prep: The Ohio State signee showed off her power with a combined four home runs to go along with an .800 average and seven RBIs to lead the Buccaneers to a 3-0 start. 

P Keala Hollenkamp, So., Academy of the Holy Names: Threw a combined 13 scoreless innings, allowing just four hits and striking out 24 in wins over Sarasota Cardinal Mooney and defending state finalist Land O’ Lakes to start the season. 

P Elana Roush, So., East Bay: Racked up a combined 41 strikeouts and allowed just four unearned runs in 17 innings on the mound and hit .500 with a combined nine RBIs at the plate to lead the Indians to a 3-0 start. 

P/3B Angelina Ricciardi, Jr., Tampa Catholic: Threw a one-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts in a win over Academy at the Lakes and hit .833 with a combined two homers and nine RBIs in the first two games of the season.  

UTIL Karlee Salisbury, Fr., Sumner: Went a combined 4-for-5 with a double, five RBIs and five runs scored in wins over Chamberlain and Blake to start the season. 

P Kelsey Winters, Sr., Newsome: Threw a no-hitter and recorded 14 strikeouts in a season-opening win over Riverview.
