Here are the nominees for the Hernando County softball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

P Ava Braswell, So., Hernando: Threw a seven-hit shutout with four strikeouts to lead the Leopards to a 9-0 win over previously undefeated Nature Coast. 

3B/SS Izzy LaRoche, Jr., Nature Coast: Went 3-for-3 with a double, a homer, four RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Citrus. 

P Kaylana Lyons, 8th, Hernando Christian: Allowed three runs (one earned) with 13 strikeouts on the mound and went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and an RBI at the plate in a win over Brooks DeBartolo. 

P Ava Miller, Fr., Springstead: Allowed a combined three earned runs and recorded 16 strikeouts on the mound and went a combined 5-for-9 with three RBIs at the plate to lead the Eagles to wins over Weeki Wachee, Crystal River and Zephyrhills. 

CF/OF/2B Damaylis Rosario, Jr., Weeki Wachee: Finished with a triple, five RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Central.
