Academy of the Holy Names: The Jaguars saved their best for last, scoring two runs in the seventh inning to beat Fort Myers Bishop Verot 6-5.
Berkeley Prep: Scoreless through four innings, the Buccaneers scored five runs in the fifth in a 5-1 victory over Lakeland McKeel Academy.
Bloomingdale: The Bulls scored all three of their runs in the fourth inning in a 3-1 win over Wiregrass Ranch.
East Bay: Dominant pitching helped the Indians cruise to a 6-0 victory over Braden River.
Newsome: The Wolves scored three runs in the sixth inning, then withstood a late rally to beat rival Durant 3-2.
Robinson: The Knights had an impressive performance to start the postseason, beating Clearwater 11-1.
Seffner Christian: Seven of the Crusaders’ 11 hits went for extra bases in a 6-2 win over Bradenton Christian.
