Hillsborough County baseball player of the week poll — May 10-11

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County baseball player of the week from the region quarterfinals. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

C/OF Justin Allen, Jr., Sickles: Powered the Gryphons by hitting a pair of home runs and finishing with five RBIs and two runs scored. 

P Jamie Arnold, Sr., Jesuit: Threw five scoreless, no-hit innings with five strikeouts and was one walk away from a perfect game in a win over Hillsborough. 

OF/1B Elijah Dukes, Sr., Wharton: Gave the offense some punch with a double, a homer and five RBIs in a win over Wiregrass Ranch. 

INF/P Ethan Duncan, So., Seffner Christian: Went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored in a win over Northside Christian.  

SS Cade Kurland, Jr., Berkeley Prep: Had a double, a homer, three RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Sarasota Cardinal Mooney. 

OF Ethan Pues, Sr., Strawberry Crest: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over Land O’ Lakes. 

P/OF Blaine Rowland, So., Durant: Threw 6 ⅔ scoreless innings, allowing three hits while striking out 10 in a win over Sarasota. 

P/1B Robert Satin, Jr., Plant: Threw a four-hit shutout with eight strikeouts on the mound and went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs in a win over Newsome. 

P/OF/INF Will Sotiropoulos, Sr.,Tampa Prep: Threw six scoreless innings, allowing four hits and finishing with seven strikeouts in a win over Fort Myers Bishop Verot.
