Here are the nominees for the top volleyball player in Hillsborough County in Classes 7-5A. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

OH/RS Kennedy Coakley, Jr., Steinbrenner: Ended up with 181 kills and 142 digs last season. 

OH Kaley Kugler, Sr., Newsome: The team MVP finished last season with 170 kills and 134 digs. 

OH Maggie Dostic, So., Plant: One of the nation’s top players in the 2025 class finished with 272 digs and 251 kills). 

L Bella Lee, Jr., Plant: The Florida commit finished with 164 digs last season for the state champion Panthers despite battling through an injury early in the season. 

S/RS Izzy Mogridge, So., Steinbrenner: Finished last season with 311 assists and 94 digs. 

RS/S Tatum Pope, Sr., Sickles: Set up the offense efficiently by finishing with 612 assists and 117 kills last season. 

S Jennifer Rayburn, Sr., Plant: Recorded 680 assists and 168 digs for the defending state champion Panthers last season.
