Here are the nominees for the Pasco County offensive player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Sunday. 

RB Malachi Askin, Jr., Cypress Creek: Ran for 217 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries and a two-point conversion in a win over Fivay. 

RB Tayshaun Balmir, Sr., Pasco: Ran for 117 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries in a win over East Ridge. He also had a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and scored on defense. 

RB Alex Cruz, Jr., Zephyrhills Christian: Ran for 100 yards on 13 carries in a win over Lake Placid. 

RB Cody Gwinn, Jr., Land O’ Lakes: Ran for 168 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries in a win over River Ridge.

RB Kishaun Madden, Sr., Anclote: Had 107 yards of offense (85 rushing, 22 receiving) and two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) in a win over Bronson.

RB/LB Logan Shawell, Jr., Hudson: Rushed for 88 yards on 10 carries on offense and had five tackles and a forced fumble on defense in a win over Hudson.

WR Drayk Simmons, Sr., Mitchell: Ended up with four receptions for 132 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Gulf.  

WR Tyler Smith, Sr., Sunlake: Finished with six catches for 137 yards and a touchdown in a win over Wesley Chapel.
