Football: Pinellas County offensive player of the week — Sept. 2

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County offensive player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Sunday. 

RB Sean Cuono, So., Calvary Christian: Ran for 150 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries in a win over Lakeland Victory Christian.

WR/K Kai Eberhart, Sr., Osceola: Had two for 42 yards, both for touchdowns, and nailed a 37-yard field goal in a win over Palm Harbor University. 

RB Zahir Favors, Sr., Boca Ciega: Ran for more than 136 yards and had three touchdowns in a win over Seminole. 

QB Jefferey Jones, So., St. Petersburg: The dual-threat dynamo accounted for 344 yards (273 rushing, 171 passing) and threw for four touchdowns in a win over Tarpon Springs.

QB Jershaun Newton, So., Clearwater Central Catholic: Ended up with 224 total yards (117 rushing, 107 passing) and two touchdowns (one passing, one rushing) in a win over Berkeley Prep. 

WR Shamar Rigby, Jr., Lakewood: Ended up with five receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown in a win over Northeast. 

RB Jaden Sanders, Jr., Countryside: Rushed for 201 yards on 17 carries in a win over Dunedin.
