Here are the nominees for the Army’s Pinellas County volleyball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

MH Natalie Ariol, Jr., East Lake: Ended up with a combined 18 kills, eight digs and five blocks in wins over River Ridge and Seminole.  

OPP Samantha Beltran, So., Canterbury: Had 11 aces and nine digs in a five-set victory over St. Petersburg. 

OH/MH Brooke Green, Sr., Clearwater Central Catholic: Finished with 14 kills, four blocks and three digs in a sweep over St. Petersburg.

OH Emarie Straw, Jr., Calvary Christian: Ended up with a combined 40 kills in six matches to help the Warriors go 4-2 at the Nike Tournament of Champions.

S Tayla Tran, Sr., Osceola: Her ability to run the offense efficiently helped the Warriors go 4-2 at the Nike Tournament of Champions.
