Here are the nominees for the Pasco County volleyball team of the week, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday.
Bishop McLaughlin: The Hurricanes, under new coach Elizabeth Klauka, won their first two matches of the season, beating Nature Coast and Countryside at the Springstead tournament.
Land O’ Lakes: The Gators went 5-2 this past week, including victories over Wiregrass Ranch, Cypress Creek and Springstead.
Sunlake: The Seahawks swept Pasco, Zephyrhills and Cypress Creek last week to extend their win streak to six matches.
Wesley Chapel: The Wildcats swept Wiregrass Ranch and Fivay to extend their win streak to five matches.
