Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County volleyball player of the week, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

S Kalena Bex, Sr., East Lake: Directed the offense with efficiency, finishing with a combined 167 assists to help the Eagles go 6-1 last week. 

OH Deanna Dollar, Sr., Calvary Christian: Recorded a combined 28 kills and 17 digs in five matches to help the Warriors place third at the Berkeley Premier. 

S Ashlyn Going, Sr., Pinellas Park: Averaged 21 assists per game to lead the Patriots to a 4-3 record last week.

MB/OH Maria Happ, Jr., Shorecrest: Finished with a combined 74 kills and 25 digs to lead the Chargers to a 5-1 record last week. 

MH Annelise Knous, Sr., St. Petersburg Catholic: Named to the all-tournament team at the Keswick Invitational. 

MB Sydney Melcher, Sr., Keswick Christian: Finished with 25 kills and 8 blocks during the Keswick Invitational, earning all-Tournament honors.
