Here are the nominees for the Hernando County football offensive player of the year, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Wednesday. 

WR Caden Bergantino, Sr., Central: The basketball standout ended up with 45 catches for 760 yards and 10 touchdowns.  

RB Christian Cromer, Jr., Nature Coast: Finished with 1,096 yards rushing and 21 touchdowns on the ground. 

QB Ayden Ferguson, Sr., Springstead: Racked up 1,588 yards of offense (1,228 passing, 460 rushing) and 21 touchdowns (14 passing, seven rushing). 

QB Jackson Hoyt, So., Nature Coast: Accounted for 1,454 yards of offense (918 passing, 536 rushing) and 12 touchdowns (eight passing, four rushing). 

QB Braden Joyner, Jr., Central: The dual-threat finished with 1,878 yards of offense (1,671 passing, 207 rushing) and 31 touchdowns (18 passing, 13 rushing). 

RB Connor McCazzio, So., Springstead: Rushed for 1,123 yards and had 10 touchdowns on the ground.
